Hunger Mountain Children's Center, a non-profit child care and preschool, is seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant/Floater. The Teacher Assistant supports classroom teachers by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. They must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their families. There is opportunity for this position to become a full-time classroom teacher if experience and education requirements are met.
The candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma. We are willing to train the right individual.
