Lead Child Care Education Teacher

Summary

Warwick River Christian is a faith-based learning center. We currently have openings for full and part-time employees. We need someone who enjoys working in an environment where quickly adapting to changing conditions and rapidly assessing the needs of young children are important and necessary skills. We have low student-to-teacher ratios. Teaching in a childcare environment is great for people who love being around children and who have a passion for early childhood education. Duties

• Collaborate with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning and care environment.
• Manage a busy classroom environment, and provide the structure and discipline required for successful learning for everyone in the classroom.
• Provide basic care for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old.
• Develop age-appropriate socialization skills in children.
• Encouraging positive behavior and good manners.
• Using various learning methods such as stories, games, and drawing to intellectually stimulate children.
• Identify behavioral problems and develop appropriate strategies to address them.
• Provide a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Work in harmony with other staff members.

Requirements

• A desire to work with children and help them learn and grow.
• Successfully pass a full criminal background check including fingerprints.
• Have an in-depth understanding of childhood development.
• Become First Aid and CPR certified.
• Maintain a professional attitude, behavior, and dress.
• Physically keep up with busy and active children whether inside or outside.
• Attentive and Patient.
