Early Childhood - Float Teacher

Summary

Seeking a float teacher in a play-based, well established four STAR childcare center. Filling in all classrooms ages 6 weeks - 5 years.

Duties

• caring for, supervising and meeting needs of children throughout the day
• recording information throughout the day
• communication with families
• communication with co-workers
• general center cleaning duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
• Love of children
• Flexibility
• Reliability
• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.(can be completed within first 3 months of hire)
• Must clear full background check
• Minimum Fundamentals in Early Childhood Education completed (can be completed within 6 months of hire) or 1 Early Childhood Education 3 credit course or Human Services Certificate from a schoolo tech program.
• High School degree or GED

Nice To Haves

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
