• Candidate should be certified to teach Advanced Placement Calculus AB and BC or be willing to get certified
• Salary dependent upon experience
• Evaluate and grade students class work, assignments, and papers.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as linear algebra, differential equations, and discrete mathematics.
• Prepare course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Maintain regular class hours to advise and assist students.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
• Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
• Participate in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
• Perform administrative duties, such as serving as department head.

• Guide class discussions.
• Select educational materials or equipment.
• Implement Advanced Placement Coursework and instructional strategies.

We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools / Advanc-ED and we strive to challenge our students each and every day. Students utilize a state-of-the-art computer lab and library for learning enhancement.
