Pine Forest Children's Center (PFCC) has been providing high quality early childhood education for a diverse community of families in the South End of Burlington since 1988. We are seeking a professional level teacher for a full-time teaching position to work on a team of two working in an Infant classroom. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, responsible, flexible team player that loves working with young children and will possess strong communication skills. Applicant will be responsible for supervision of students in their classroom, curriculum planning, classroom management, collaboration with colleagues, and adherence to VT Licensing Regulations and Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS). Early childhood educators have the ability to design their classroom learning environments with their team as well as curriculum design and planning. We use observation and assessment tools (ASQ & TSG) to document each child's growth and learning. We believe in making learning visible for children, families and community members as a way to advocate for children and our field.
