Summary

Qualifications:

All applicants must have experience working with young children in an Early Childhood setting

Must be organized and have excellent writing skills

Must have a good understanding of digital and media languages

Knowledge of Early Childhood Education or child related field

Duties

Essential Position Duties:

• Ability to learn and implement the Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy
• Maintain a cheerful, nurturing, healthy, safe and clean environment
• Establish and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with families and staff
• Monitor growth and development of each child
• Protect the rights and privacy of children and families by maintaining strict confidentiality
• Work towards increasing knowledge and abilities in the field of early childhood education
• Understand and comply with state and local childcare regulations
• Flexibility in moving and working in different classroom age groups (infant through pre-k)

Requirements

• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree or CDA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience of at least one year of working in a preschool or chiildcare setting
• Covid vaccinated
