We are seeking a highly qualified, dependable lead to work with various age groups ranging from ages 6 weeks-4 years. This position requires excellent supervision, and care giving. This individual will be responsible for working independently, and managing classroom effectively. This position requires an individual to work (4) 10 hour days, and have one day off per week. They will receive one long weekend off per month making for a better work-life balance. Individual may have option to work 5 days per week M-F if preferred.
Duties include:
-Excellent supervision, and caregiving
-Verbal and written communication skills
-CPR/FA certification (within 90 days of hire)
-Implementation of lesson plans
-Playground supervision
-Multitasking, and adaptability a plus!
Job requirements:
-Must be at least 18 years old, and have high school diploma, or GED
-Must have at least one year programmatic experience at a licensed facility, school, or other organization related to child care
-Must have Virginia Preservice Training within 90 days of employment
-Background checks and TB screening required prior to hire
-Must be CPR and First Aid certified within 90 days of employment
Compensation based upon previous experience, and education level, and will be discussed at time of interview.
