Afterschool Teacher

Summary

CAMP LOL is looking for a dynamic, energetic, dedicated professional for our Program.

We are an Afterschool age program with children 5 years through 12 years of age. We are open everyday Afterschool from 2:45-5:30pm. We also are open on school closures for St. Johnsbury School and Lyndon Town School.

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday through summer vacation, with a potential to be full time year round. We offer a competitive salary and ongoing professional development.

Duties

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Dedication to exploring nature and the natural environment

* Strong knowledge in developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum

* Be skilled at time management and be able to handle multiple tasks

* Work well as a team member

* Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude

* Demonstrate the ability to communicate positively with Elementary aged children

* Ability to plan fun and engaging activities

Requirements

• Must have a highschool diploma or GED
• Be able to pass a background check
