Summary

This position supports the work of 321 Early Learning Academy, Inc.

321 Early Learning Academy, Inc. is open Monday through Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm. This position can range from 20 to 30 hours. Hours will be 5:00 pm until work is finished. Flexibility to perform Friday duties over the weekend while the daycare is closed.

Duties

• Ensures 321 Early Learning Academy, Inc. is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment. May perform wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, painting, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, and general cleaning.
• Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Records and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed.
• Pick up and/or put away food order.
• Ensures 321 building and property is secure.
• Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• May set up furniture for events.

Requirements

• Previous related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to pass background check
