Summary

Peachtree Prep is a part of the Peachtree Academy K-12 private school system. The ideal candidate for this position will serve as a teacher in an early childhood classroom. We are looking for a mature superstar who enjoys working with children to provide a safe and nurturing environment for great students with supportive parents! Other preschool experience is a plus and future opportunities for growth are available. Longevity matters and making sure that we hire staff members who are dedicated to educating the students in their class is significant to us! Our salary for the position tends to be the highest of any school in the area, so please check us out. In-person interviews are every week from 9-11 a.m. Monday through Thursday at all of our campuses or by appointment by calling Peachtree Academy at extension 1017. Duties

• Reinforce lessons and classroom procedures implemented by the lead teacher
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and develop age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Ability to accurately document communication to parents, staff, and members of the administration team
• Organizing and maintaining a classroom environment that reinforces classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Keeping parents informed of their child's progress using Procare Connect software

Requirements

• Flexible and a team player that assists in maintaining and creating a positive work environment
• Knowledge of development and behavior patterns of young children
• Previous experience working with young children or enrolled in an early childhood education program

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
• Pursing an education in Early Childhood Education
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Child Development Associate (CDA) or Technical Child Certificate (TCC)

Our school is a State of Art Private PreK through 12th-grade private school. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools / Advanc-ED and we strive to challenge our students each and every day. Students utilize a state-of-the-art computer lab and library for learning enhancement. Our students compete in a variety of academic events including Math Olympics, Creative Writing, Spelling Bees, Speech Meets, Science Fairs, and over 17 different sports teams. The early childhood division of the school bases its academic program on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
