Early Childhood Education Teacher

Summary

United Counseling Services is seeking a Teacher to work in our Early Childhood Education division.

40 hours per week. Monday - Friday. Full year position.

Duties

• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the philosophies and goals of Head Start.
• Home visits/parent conferences.
• Collaborate with consultants and specialists in an on-going manner to ensure delivery of services geared towards the individual needs of the child.
• Documentation/record keeping for each child enrolled in classroom.
• Manage, help train and develop Teacher Assistant staff.

Requirements

• Bachelors or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education with Vermont licensure in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience teaching pre-school children preferred

United Children's Services of Bennington County/ Bennington County Head Start- Early Head Start operates 5STAR sites in North Bennington, Bennington, and Pownal VT, and serving children ages 6 weeks- 5 years and their families with comprehensive early childhood education.
