Duties

What you'll do as a Teacher at Arms of the King:

  • Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
  • Use your knowledge of child development to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in order to help them achieve developmental milestones.
  • Engage children with different types of fun and stimulating activities such as: singing, reading, crawling/cruising/walking, and art activities.
  • Communicate efficiently with your co-teacher to ensure quality of care for children.
  • Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
  • Complete training that provides comprehensive insight on childcare and child-development topics.
  • Implement curriculum and lesson plans while creating fun and interactive learning experiences.

Requirements

Who we're interested in speaking to:

  • Individuals who are energetic and passionate about working with children, who are patient and nurturing
  • Those with experience working with children of all ages.
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare center or related field
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have completed a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Individuals who are available for a regular schedule of 10:00- 6:00 PM Monday-Friday
  • For SUMMER CAMP teacher: Valid Drivers License and the ability to drive a 15 passenger van

Nice To Haves

  • Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
