This position requires a person with patience, warmth, organization, and the ability to be flexible as the needs of the children change. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a sense of humor and playfulness, be able to interact professionally with families and be able to manage professional development outside of work. The infant room is a busy place, so applicants should be able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
Feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning the room itself as well as following instructions from the Lead Teacher and Center Director. Managing paperwork as assigned. Following feeding instructions carefully. Assisting with developmentally appropriate play and structured positioning duties. Able to lift up to 45 pounds. This is a full time, year round position.
Must have current CPR/1st aid, high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of either 45 hour course or college class in child development,
12 months experience in a group care setting, preferably in infant care
