Preschool Teachers- Summer Help: June- August

Summary

ARBC Weekday Preschool is now hiring assistant teachers to help this summer, starting in June, while there is also the possibility to continue throughout the next school year. Teacher assistant will work with two other teachers to engage children, maintain a loving and safe classroom, and follow all DSS licensing requirements. We are looking for hard-working, energetic, passionate, and flexible candidates! Do you love children and helping them learn and grow through play? Together, let's shape the future for our children! Hours vary by classroom, Monday-Friday.

Duties

• Follow all DSS licensing requirements
• Feeding, diapering, interacting with children, playing on the floor
• Implement lesson plans and work with classroom team of teachers
• Maintain individual schedules of children and/or class
• Communicating with parents throughout the day
• Cleaning throughout the day
• Relate in a positive manner with children, parents, and coworkers

Requirements

• 6 months work experience in a SC licensed childcare center
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18 years old
• Must be able to pass DSS background check & fingerprint scan
• Pass health assessment and TB test
• Complete 15 hours of training throughout the year (provided on site and paid for)
• Must have a flexible, helpful and patient nature
