Summary

HEI Schools (Helsinki International Schools) is opening a new preschool for 2.5-6 year old children in Franklin, Tennessee.

Duties

This role consists of implementing the HEI Curriculum based on the Finnish national ECE model and latest pedagogical research and developing our preschool's culture using HEI Schools' teaching materials

-Eating lunch with students to model healthy eating habits and conversation skills

-Spending time outside with our students

-Helping clean up children that are not yet potty trained and changing diapers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education with at least 1 year experience
• COVID-19 vaccines are required (at least 2) and we will need a copy of vaccine card. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will need to obtain the vaccine prior to in-person interview. 
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in Spanish
• Excellent interaction, collaboration, leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as good organizational skills and a systematic approach
• An understanding and a sensitivity for cultural diversity
• A positive attitude and great cooperation skills in your new HEI Family
• A passion for supporting children in finding their own personalities and ways of learning
