Early Childhood - Lead Teacher

Summary

Lead teacher needed. This position would be a full time position. We are a Christian preschool and we pride ourselves on being a 3 star school. We are looking for someone who has a CDA or above or is willing to begin working towards a CDA or above. The teacher would create lesson plans, lead small groups, and communicate with parents. He/She should be self motivated, flexible, a team player, and feel that they are called to work with young children.

Duties

Can work these hours: 7-4 & 8-5 Monday -Friday.

Can prepare lesson plans and implement them

Communicates with parents

Requirements

• Have or working towards a CDA or above
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug test
• A heart for teaching and making a difference in children's lives.
• High energy.
• Flexible.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
