The PreK Teacher assistant is responsible for supporting the lead teacher in daily activities to include curriculum and social emotional support. Our goal is to develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teacher assistants must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The teacher assistant must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns. This job requires lifting, working on the floor, indoor and outdoor time as well as the need to be moved to different areas of the facility depending on the needs of the business.
