Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead 3-Year-Old Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will implement age-appropriate curriculum, foster social-emotional development, and provide structured activities that support early childhood growth. This role requires strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a passion for guiding young learners in foundational academic and social skills. The Lead 3-Year-Old Teacher will collaborate with families, oversee classroom assistants, and maintain a safe and stimulating space where children feel valued and excited to learn.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement a structured, age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood learning and development.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Support social-emotional development by teaching children how to express feelings, resolve conflicts, and engage in cooperative play.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that enhance cognitive, motor, and language skills.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing individualized support as needed.
- Communicate regularly with families, offering updates and guidance on their child’s growth and development.
- Supervise and mentor classroom assistants to maintain a structured and effective learning space.
- Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning experiences to keep children engaged and excited.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels.
Job Requirements:
- Education Required: High school diploma.
- Education Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Certification: CPR and First Aid certification required; additional early childhood education certifications preferred.
- Experience: Previous 2 years of experience working with preschool-age children in an educational or childcare setting.
