Summary

BVS, a Reggio-inspired Early Enrichment Center, is looking for phenomenal, supportive teachers to join our wonderful and growing team. Our program values the natural world, so candidates can expect to enjoy outside time, natural items within the classroom, and a home-like feeling in our center. We can serve up to 74 children and value our partnerships with our families and the community.

Our programs run from 7:00 am-5:00 pm.  We are looking for someone to help foster a child-centered curriculum, model appropriate interactions & caring relationships, and help children to grow and thrive. The ideal candidate will be interested in child development and be able to be Teacher Qualified according to NH Child Care Licensing Standards. They should also respect and understand that families play a critical role in our program and value a nature-inspired philosophy. This position would start as a floater position to help in all age groups and may be considered for a Lead Teaching Position with our upcoming expansion! BVS Family and Child Enrichment Center is NAEYC accredited and Step 4 on the Granite Steps for Quality. We are excited to have you join our high-quality team!

Our Early Education Supportive will work with the team and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children, assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education and assisting the team in implementing a quality educational program, developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, observing and documenting children's interests and progress, and relaying that information to parents and staff.

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to become Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Hold at least an Associates Degree in ECE or related field.
• Has 1+ years of experience in a Licensed Program.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds
• Must be able to sit/ stand for periods of time
