Reference ID : 71713

Description

Summary

Behavior Therapists (RBT)/BCBAs In-Training directly implement evidence-based intervention for children with autism, ages 18 months to 5 years, under the direction and supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and accrue restricted and unrestricted supervision hours under the guidance and supervision of our on-site doctorate level BCBA (BCBA-D).

Working at Young Mind Center (YMC) is different. We believe our primary mission is to better the lives of our team. That means professional growth, personal growth, and improved financial circumstances. And this isn't entirely altruistic, it's also a business approach. We are only as good as our team, and the way we use our resources reflects that. If we want our team to be dependable, we need to be dependable. For that reason, we guarantee hours. That means you work what you are scheduled, no matter how many clients are out, sick, or on vacation. If there aren't clients to work with you overlap with another therapist, work on professional development, and complete projects and assignments that accrue indirect hours toward the BCBA credential.

We have a module style supervision experience that comes with a guaranteeing of both restricted and unrestricted hours and the supervision and direct mentorship from our on-site BCBA-D. This includes learning how to do task list skills (e.g., implementing rules, planning for unwanted effects of reinforcement, etc.), hard skills (e.g., client programming, treatment plan writing, and parent training), and soft skills (e.g., time management, people management, giving feedback, and leadership).
