Hunger Mountain Children's Center, a non-profit child care and preschool, is seeking a full-time Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher for our 1-year-old room classroom. The lead teacher collaborates with their co-teacher to provide a safe, caring and supportive classroom environment, where children have endless opportunities to explore their world. They must be able to communicate and work well with others in a team environment with the goal of implementing a quality educational program and developing positive relationships with children and their families.
The candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma. The ideal candidate will have an Early Childhood Apprenticeship Certificate, Associates Degree and/or qualify as a Teacher Associate through VT licensing regulations
We would like the candidate to have at least a year of experience in a child care center, but we are willing to train the right individual.
An added bonus would be a Bachelor's Degree with early childhood education credits and/or qualify as a Teacher through VT licensing regulations, which would qualify for a higher salary.
