We are seeking applicants for a childcare position in our school-age classroom at our Blackjack location. There are opportunities for educational advancement. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Pay is based on experience and education.
The school-age teacher will develop lesson plans comprised of fun and educational activities. The teacher will implement the lesson plans and provide homework help during after-school hours, as well as days the children do not attend public school. This teacher will be a floater when the school-aged children are not at the center.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. They must also have a current TB skin test and be able to pass a fingerprint-based background check.
KY Commonwealth Child Care Credential and CDA credential are required within the first year of employment, but are not required to start.
First Aid and CPR
Experience in a child care center
Familiarity with the KY All STARS rating program
