Duties

• Maintain an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with our staff, children and families.
• Support lead teacher with classroom management.
• Assist with implementing age-appropriate activities based on the curriculum
• Provide for the physical safety and well-being of children from arrival to departure
• Attend training sessions for professional and program development
• Ensure licensing requirements are implemented

Requirements

• Growth mindset and positive attitude
• Passionate about developing a love of learning in children
• Meets or exceeds licensing requirements, including TB test, background check, documentation of citizenship, and physical ability to perform the required job duties

with or without accommodations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active CDA credential (or willing to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of early childhood education or related field
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
