Summary
Our growing preschool is hiring for a Breaker/Floater position.. This is a perfect entry level position for anyone interested in childcare or enrolled in early childhood education classes at a higher learning institution. The floater will cover lunch/potty breaks and move between classrooms as needed. These needs may change on a day to day basis. The hours are 11- 5:30/6 Monday-Friday.
Duties
- Cover breaks
- Be flexible and willing to go into a class as needed
- Playing
- Singing
- Arts and crafts
- Assist lead teachers with daily activities and tasks
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of classrooms
Requirements
- Prefer 6 months experience in a LICENSED DSS/ABC affiliated childcare center
- High school diploma/GED
- Must pass SLED background check
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds
