Williamson County Schools School Age Child Care program (SACC) is currently hiring a seasonal Assistant Day Camp Director at locations in Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill.

Assistant Day Camp Directors assist the Site Leader with managing the day-to-day operation at an assigned summer day camp. They step in to run the program when the Site Leader is out.

Overview

• Position is Monday-Friday with 8 hours shifts between 6:30 am-6:00 pm.
• Up to 40 hours a week
• Available between May 15-August 3, 2023
•  Pay is between $14.84-$19.67 an hour based on experience

Duties

Assistant Site Leaders assist the Site Leader with managing the day-to-day operation at an assigned SACC summer day camp program. They step in to run the program when the Site Leader is out.

Responsibilities

• Oversee summer programming for elementary age students
• Supervise staff and children
• Assist with parent communication
• Maintain DOE state compliance
• Build relationships with school admin and staff
• Supervise field trips
• Assist with first aid as needed
• Address student discipline
• Help with breakfast and snack distribution
• Have Fun!

Requirements

Candidates should have child care and leadership experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma, degree preferred
• Successfully pass background check
• 18 years or older
• Current First Aid/ CPR certification
• Management or child care experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
