We are looking for a mature, motivated person who loves working with children. This is a full-time position with Monday-Friday schedule.
Fill in as needed when a person is off or needs to leave early.
Fill in as needed for lunch breaks or restroom breaks for other staff.
Help/assist teacher with daily task (bible time, circle time, etc.)
Step in to substitute for teacher when not available.
Clean and sanitize for the next day (empty trash can, vacuum, mop, clean tables, chairs, etc.)
Redirect a child when the child is being disruptive and comfort them when needed.
Change diapers, help with potty training or bathroom time.
Provide safe outdoor/indoor play.
Greet parents at arrival and dismissal.
Relay any necessary information to parents and teacher.
Mop preschool hallway on rotation with other preschool staff.
Maintain safe ratios for classrooms (1-year-olds=1: 5, 2-year-olds=1: 8, 3-year-olds=1: 10, 4-year-olds=1: 10, 5 years through 9 years old= 1: 20, 9 years through 12 years= 1: 25.
Provide daily health check.
Help in any capacity needed as instructed by lead teacher.
