Cook - Baraboo Head Start Center

Are you tired of cooking nights and weekend in a restaurant? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a friendly, energetic individual to cook for preschool children Monday through Friday, at our Baraboo Head Start facility, preparing meals for preschool aged children.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be available Monday through Friday, year-round
• Typical Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Maintains a clean kitchen
• Follows CACFP guidelines
• Cooks for children 0-5 years old
• Plans, purchases and prepares meals
• Serves meals family-style
• May prepare nutrition activities for preschool children

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
