We are searching for an experienced Montessori teacher who is reliable and innovative to join our school. As a Montessori teacher, your duties and responsibilities will include creative, stimulating learning environments for children of all ages and lesson plans that develop emotional, social, and intellectual skills. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys and embraces alternative learning as well as understands the importance of nurturing and guiding children. About us 

Kids World is a bilingual Montessori program where children 1 to 6 years of age develop a love of learning.

At Kids World, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique program follows Dr. Maria Montessori's learning method for children in the infant - preschool age group. By always keeping the child's best interest in mind, our beautiful environment allows for hands-on, experiential learning. In this climate, children love to learn.

Starting as soon as the required training and paperwork is completed.

Monday- Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Duties

Montessori Teacher Duties & Responsibilities:

• Creating a creative lesson plan and curriculum that will include learning exercises catering to the student's needs and abilities
• Creating own classroom materials
• Observing and assessing children's progress and needs
• Make all children feel comfortable and at ease while motivating them and exploring their ideas and imagination
• Creating student reports and building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Monitoring student processes
• Setting an example for students by being role models and instilling good values
• Taking students on field trips and taking care of them while participating in school activities
• Helping colleagues train other teachers
• Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment

Requirements

Montessori teacher requirements:

• +3 years of experience in (3-6 classroom settings)
• Must be able to speak and communicate in English and in Spanish effectively 
• Completed training at a Montessori accredited center (AMS or AMI)
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood teaching or a similar area of study
• Excellent Communication skills
• One-year in-person internship at Montessori school
• Understanding of the program and passion for alternative education
• Ability to teach a large group of children of different ages
• Being a role model to children and colleagues
• Ability to multitask and organize learning programs
