Williamson County Schools School Age Child Care (SACC) program is hiring summer day camp counselors for Summer 2023 in Franklin at Creekide, Hunters Bend, and Pearre Creek Elementary Schools.

Overview

• We are looking for people who enjoy working with elementary age children
• Shifts available Monday-Friday between 6:30 am - 6:00 pm, 6 -8 hour shifts each day
• Responsibilities include leading activities, overseeing up to 20 children, handling basic redirection and discipline
• Need to be available to work between May 22 - August 4, 2023
• Pay starts at $14.28 up to $18.02 an hour, based on experience

Duties

Day Camp Counselors assist with leading activities and going on field trips.

Responsibilities

• Engage in fun, safe and enriching experiences elementary age children
• Lead up to 20 children in group games, recreation and enrichment activities
• Assist with basic first aid
• Provide redirection and discipline
• Supervise up to 10 children on weekly off-site field trips
• Follow licensing safety procedures and guidelines
• Have fun!

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Satisfy criminal background check
• Child care experience
