Summary
The Afterschool Group Teacher receives the children from the each afternoon and serves snacks, plans and leads enrichment activities, assists with homework, and supervises outdoors games and play.
Duties
- Document arrival of children
- Serves snacks observing hygienic guidelines
- Plans and offers enrichment activities that the group find interesting and challenging
- Supervise indoor activities with materials provided
- Encourage and assist with homework
- Supervise outdoor games and play
- Share with the families events of the day
- Clean classroom at closing
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma
- Must have experience with groups of children
- Must be available EVERY weekday afternoon from 2:30p - 6:00 p
