Summary
Small Beginnings Childcare Center is a new center that provides care for infants, toddlers and young preschoolers. We are looking for a friendly, flexible and reliable childcare worker who has a passion for teaching young children. The 4K teacher will teach and instruct 4 and 5-year-old children using Creative Curriculum. This teacher is expected to encourage the growth and development of each child, inspire and motivate them to thrive intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. The available schedule in this room is from 7:30 to 3:00, Monday through Friday.
Duties
- Follow Creative Curriculum
- Utilize Teaching Strategies Gold for assessments
- Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Oversee and supervise activities indoors and outdoors
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Sanitize and disinfect toys, materials and surfaces within classroom
- Interact with children through instructional methods to include play, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing, science and physical activities
Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Associate's Degree
- 6 months to a year experience in a licensed childcare facility
Nice To Haves
- ECD 101 or 15 Hour Health and Safety Certificate
- First Aid/CPR
