Description

Summary

The Kitchen Administrator will adhere to all the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and the job description. Must be able to follow all Child Adult Care Federal Food Program regulations. The Kitchen Administrator could be assigned additional responsibilities and will be compensated for the added responsibilities.

 






                             

Duties

Plan, write, and adhere to weekly menus

Take inventory weekly and/or order with approved suppliers

Order menu items from IWC or other suppliers and keep records of order

Maintain and follow a budget set by the Early Childhood Ministry Board (ECM schoolboard)

Do weekly local shopping and keep records of all shopping (must use personal vehicle)

Monthly orders for Sam's Club

Write check request for IWC and other approved vendors and turn into director


               Keep kitchen up to the Department of Health Standard

               Keep kitchen and all required areas full supplied and stocked

Requirements

Training and Education

Model appropriate leadership and Christian behavior toward all staff, parents, & children

Pass all TN State Health Training

Pass First Aid and CPR

Pass Drug Screening

Work independently on own while being on time for all classroom meal deliveries

Take and pass all federal food program training that is required

Willing to travel for trainings and supply pick up (paid milage)

High school diploma



 Demonstrate skills of organization, leadership, initiative, cooperativeness, and dependability

3 written non-relative references (must have)

Work experience in commercial kitchen or public-school cafeteria

Willingness to participate in school activities even if you are not paid (Example: Staff Christmas Party)
