Duties

WCLC is looking for a reliable, fun, energetic individual to join our Administrative team. This position is part-time Monday through Friday from 4:00pm-6:15pm. Additional hours may be given if the applicant is willing to assist in classrooms as a substitute earlier in the day. We are looking for candidates that can commit at a minimum through December 2024.

The front desk assistant is responsible for closing the building each day; you will be the last employee to leave in the afternoon. They will be responsible for admitting and greeting all families wishing to enter the building, answering incoming phone calls, managing emails and the Procare system, assisting the teachers as needed, and closing down the reception area. During the school year, the front desk assistant may be required to drive the elementary school aged kids in our 10-passenger van and/or 14-passenger bus.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and have fulfilled a high school program completion or the equivalent.
• Friendly, reliable, and consistent.
• Must be a quick learner.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Great communication skills with parents & staff and basic computer skills.
• Be able to stand/ walk/ run/ lift up to 35lbs
• Handle pressure with a smile and professionalism.
• Enjoy working with children. We are a drug-free working environment.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must clear a full background check and pass a health screening.
• Have a valid Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous child care experience preferred.
