Early Childhood Preschool Teacher for a 2.5 year old to 4 year old class

Summary

Preschool teachers are responsible for the early education of children in their care. Duties and responsibilities of Preschool Teachers include developing and delivering interactive learning programs designed to engage and educate young children. We are looking to hire educators that carry themselves with professionalism and are dedicated to the children and families of our agency! This position is for An Early Childhood Educator/ Preschool Teacher. Pay is based upon experience and training. This classroom has a few children on the spectrum and come with their own particular attributes that require special attention. I am looking to hire the person to come in and love on these children while providing adequate care and guidance. There will be an assistant in this classroom. I am looking to hire a lead teacher or a co teacher.

Duties

• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms
• Provide basic needs for children
• Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals

Requirements

-Must be 18 years or older

-Be able to pass a criminal background check.

- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

-Have 2 years of experience with children in a day care setting would be preferable

Nice To Haves

Prior Child Care Center Experience

Some college or official trainings in Early Childhood Development or equivalent
