Learning Adventure's purpose is to provide high-quality care, education, and nurturing for preschool and school-age children. Our focus is to embrace individual and family strengths as we partner together with families to create an environment that is safe and stimulating. By utilizing the strengths of each person (families, children, and staff), we build confidence and motivate children and families to grow and develop in a manner that is unique and appropriate to the individual and the family. We have had a fruitful collaboration with the Grand Isle School District for more than 27 years as a partner site for children with diverse abilities to receive direct services from school special educators, speech pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. We have the rare and unique benefit of a small team of 4 women who have poured their hearts into the program for more than 15 years, providing excellent early care and education for the island communities and beyond, and creating a warm working environment where everyone has the opportunity to excel through coaching, on-going professional development, and on their own merit.
