The brand-new Bridgewater Community Childcare Center in Bridgewater, VT is seeking enthusiastic teachers who will provide direct education and childcare services through dynamic curriculum. As a founding teacher you will get to play an active role in creating a welcoming environment that supports young children and their families!
The childcare center is an anchor program of the Bridgewater Community Center, a place where people of all ages can engage in enriching activities, presenting a variety of opportunities to connect the Childcare's children and their families to the community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a team of staff dedicated to creating opportunities that inspire young children to explore, learn and develop new skills in a thoughtfully organized and caring environment both indoors and out.

If you have at least one year of full-time teaching experience in early childhood education through third (3) grade, we want to talk with you!
With respect for the VT childcare licensing regulations, you will need a minimum of a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Four (4) A or B Certificate OR a bachelor degree from an accredited college with a major or concentration in Early Childhood, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education, Special Education with a birth to eight (8) years of age focus, or Child and Family Services and at least twelve (12) months experience working with groups of children from grade three (3) or younger; OR a bachelor degree from an accredited college with at least successful completion of thirty (30) college credits with an early childhood or school age focus and at least twelve (12) months experience working with groups of children from grade three (3) or younger; OR hold at least a current Vermont Agency of Education teaching license with an endorsement in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education.
