About Us

The Learning Gardens is a locally owned, play-based school serving families ages 6 weeks to 4 years, also serving local families with virtual schooling and summer camp. Located in Research Park on Madison's west side, we have immense green space making our community our playground! Teachers and admin are constantly working to better our program and become one of the best childcare centers in Madison.

The Learning Gardens Child Development Center, a local leader in early childcare and education, is a licensed and accredited center, receiving a 5-star rating from YoungStar. Through our infant, toddler, preschool 4k, and school age programs, we work with and support families with infants as young as six weeks old, through children up to age 10. At the Learning Gardens, we believe children thrive in the security and stimulation of a high-quality program which links families and the center together. In doing so, we accomplish our mission of ensuring children acquire the skills they need to become productive members of society. We believe young children learn best through active involvement in an environment which is caring, child directed, developmentally appropriate, educationally enriching and embraces diversity
