Summer ONLY Part Time Position for Teachers Assistant/Teachers Aid

As a preschool teacher you will help preschoolers develop their problem-solving skills, guide them in both structured learning and play time, and prepare them with the knowledge they will need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Duties

• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

        Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.

        Assist the Teacher to create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.

• Assisting with implementing lesson plans

Requirements

Must successfully clear criminal background without exemption.

Nice To Haves

• LOVE children.
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Coursework in early childhood education or child development preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General knowledge of child development.
• Ability to remain calm in a highly fast-paced environment.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain required.
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or CDA preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education highly desired
• Must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience.
• 2+ years of early childhood education experience desired
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible in assignment and work hours
• Ability to work on their feet for long periods of time
• Proficient in writing and interpersonal skills
