Nursery Room (Babies) Teacher

Summary

Nursery teachers are responsible for the daily care and individualized care of children in their room. Duties and responsibilities of Nursery Teachers include developing and delivering interactive learning programs designed to engage and educate young children under the age of 1, while understanding that they are on individual schedules and all four of them can cray at the same time. We are looking to hire educators that carry themselves with professionalism and are dedicated to the children and families of our agency! This position is for A Nursery Teacher. Pay is based upon experience and training.

Duties

• Provide basic needs for young children, including changing diapers, handling fussy babies, making bottles, feeding baby food, etc...
• Provide tools and resources for babies to use and explore during learning and play activities in the nursery
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children at the infant level
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals
• Manage the online application we have a contract with through Brightwheel to log children's daily activities and correspond with the parents.

Requirements

LOVE OF LITTLE CHILDREN, IE BABIES, REQUIRED

must have an understanding that the babies cry, need diaper changes, have sad days, cry all at the same time

management of time with four babies needs at the same time.

must be 18 years old or older

must have high school diploma

must be willing to work well with others and a team environment.

must have reliable transportation

must pass a criminal background check

must be willing to do 18 hours of online state specific child care training.
