We are recruiting one teacher to join a dynamic PreK team in Fall 2024. The right recruit can come on board at any point between now and September to get oriented to our warm professional culture and our Reggio-inspired mindsets and practices. We are offering a $1,000 signing bonus to attract an excellent hire.

Join an experienced teacher team to lead a classroom of toddlers (age 2-young 3s) or preschoolers (3-5s). Take children on explorations on our beautiful wooded property, engage with science educators from our next-door neighbor the Montshire Museum of Science, design art explorations in our designated atelier, an in-house art studio. Facilitate a Reggio-inspired program propelled by students' curiosity and interests. Reflect with colleagues on children's learning to plan next steps, and create thought-provoking documentation to share with parents, colleagues and students too.
We are thrilled that early childhood education (ECE) is your chosen profession. You love working with young children and reflecting with colleagues on all aspects of children's learning and development. We strongly prefer that you have a college degree and at least one year of teaching experience in some venue. We look forward to learning about your passion for ECE, as well as your other interests.
Prior teaching experience is preferred (not required). We also prefer that you are familiar with NAEYC standards, VT Early Learning standards, and the Reggio Emilia philosophy. If not, you need to be excited by the prospect of getting trained in Reggio-inspired mindsets and practices.
