The School Zone Inc. is now hiring a part-time Substitute preschool teacher.

*Paid Position
*Experience in childcare/education preferred as well as working with Preschool aged children 2-5 years old
-Follow a Lesson Plan and a daily schedule
-Guide children to grow and develop their capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, fine & gross motor movements, crafts etc.)
-Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
-Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
-Encourage children to positively interact with each other
-Helping students with bathroom breaks/potty training
-Maintain classroom discipline/structure, while still fostering a caring environment
-Be available to substitute in classrooms when teacher is out on short notice and when scheduled ahead
At least one year of childcare experience. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Passion for working with children.
