Looking for a dynamic individual with a strong passion for working with children to join our team. Ideal candidate would have experience working independently leading a class of up to 10 children, enjoy the outdoors and want to give back childhood to the children.

*Encourage the social emotional wellbeing of children, assuring their individual learning styles and needs are met, and assessed using the TSG system
*Adhere to all licensing regulations & center policies
All candidates must have experience working in a licensed center leading a class, and ideally have knowledge of the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment System, or get trained.
Desired qualifications include at least one of the following either completed or being worked towards:
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education or Child and Family Services.
Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Three (3) Certificate
Certificate of Completion from the Registered Child Apprenticeship Program
Child Care Certificate from the Community College of Vermont and at least 12 (12) months experience in working with children from grade three (3) or younger.
Successful completion of at least twenty-one (21) college credits with an early childhood or school age focus and at least twelve (12) months of experience working with children from grade three (3) or younger.
The ideal candidate will have great comprehension of child development, curriculum design, professional communication, a desire to be part of a collaborative team, flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with families and the community. An associates degree is preferred, but will consider other qualifications/ working towards a certificate or degree.
