Responsible for the following job duties:
Partners with early childhood caregivers/providers, educators and administrators who seek to increase the quality of birth to five early care and education services.
Uses approved, evidence-based assessment tools and resulting data to assist providers to enhance their care and learning environment through professional development.
Provides supervision to the Early Learning Specialists who deliver direct services to providers.
Supervisor will be trained in Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS).
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field.
At least 3-5 years' experience working with early care and education programs preferably in a leadership role.
Experience training and/or coaching adult learners.
Familiarity with strength-based approaches in supervision and service delivery, or willingness to learn
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices with children.
Ability to provide direct service with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to interact effectively with community based partners.
Ability to organize time effectively to meet assigned work demands.
Salary range: $48,000 - $54,000
