Lead Teacher

Summary

We are looking to fill three lead teacher positions for a two year class, two and a half year and a 3 - 4 year class for the 2022-2023 school year. Candidates must be nurturing and loving to gently guide little ones in a classroom setting. Must be able to provide age appropriate instruction and crafts that create excitement for learning. Multi-tasking is a huge plus. We are a relatively small private preschool/childcare facility so working together/helping each other is a must. Position can be full time (preferred) or part time - 5 mornings/wk. Must have a 4 year degree. At least one year of classroom experience is preferred. Please send resume

Duties

Create and plan age appropriate program for your age group. Often, this will be the child's first experience in a preschool setting. Have a daily lesson plan that includes a project. Read stories, lay out cots for nap time. serve snacks and lunch. Keep room tidy and sanitized. We are well equipped with supplies for all sorts of projects. Assist with potty training (2 year class).

Requirements

A four year degree in a social science or teaching. At least one year of teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

The ability to multi-task is a plus. Good communication skills. Have great organizational skills.
