Co-Teacher

Summary

We are looking for an energetic, kind, and nurturing year-round Co-Teacher of our toddler, preschool, or pre-k program. We have openings in each of the programs starting mid-June. There are two Co-Teachers in each classroom whoa re responsible for co-planning and guiding children academically through exploratory play. Co-Teachers are responsible for the well-being, social-emotional development, intellectual, and physical development of the children in their class. It is critical a Co-Teacher has a loving and nurturing disposition suited for working with young children.

Duties

• Work cooperatively with the team to create meaningful and engaging environment for the children.
• Partner with parents in a kind and respectful manner.
• Interact with each child in a positive, engaging manner.
• Support leadership in all goals and standards schoolwide.
• Complete required trainings (free to employees).

Requirements

• High school diploma
• CPR/First Aide certified or willingness to be CPR/First Aide certified
• Cleared background and fingerprint check
• Negative Tuberculosis Test
• Reliable transportation
• References

Nice To Haves

• CDA
• Training or experience in Early Childhood Education
