Crievewood United Methodist Child Care, a year-round child care program, seeks an experienced early childhood educator to nurture and guide the developmental and learning experiences of young children. Especially candidates who have experience with preschool age children are encouraged to apply.
Approximately 25 hours per week, with the potential for more hours during school breaks and summer.
Hours are generally M-F 10:00-4:00 with a 1 hour break from 12:30 to 1:30 pm
Execute age appropriate daily learning activities planned by lead teacher.
Assistant lead teacher in daily routines.
Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Tennessee Department of Human Resources
Communicate effectively with families at pick up time.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have or be able to obtain Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification, as well as pass a fingerprint background check.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to kneel, stoop, sit on the floor, stand for long periods of time while demonstrating and engaging in activities with children.
Degree in Early childhood education or related subject
Experience with preschool age children.
