Crievewood United Methodist Child Care, a year-round child care program, seeks an experienced early childhood educator to nurture and guide the developmental and learning experiences of young children. Especially candidates who have experience with preschool age children are encouraged to apply.
Approximately 35 to 40 hours per week, paid time off, reduced fees for your children.
Plan, organize and execute age appropriate daily learning activities
Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Tennessee Department of Human Resources.
Communicate effectively with families on a daily basis.
Provide safe and developmentally appropriate educational programs.
Adapt daily routines to meet the needs and goals of the children in the class.
Team player who enjoys collaborating with other preschool teachers.
Enjoy the children and foster positive relationships with families.
Maintain DHS required annual training hours (center assists in coordination of training)
Must be 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Background check required
Must have or be able to obtain Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience working with young children, specifically 3- 5 year olds
.
Early childhood education degree, CDA, or TECTA certification
Hourly Pay negotiable and dependent on experience and education
