The Child Care Center in Norwich is undergoing a transformation! We invite enthusiastic and energetic teachers to join us as we adopt a Reggio Emilia-inspired program with an emphasis on children's innate sense of wonder, the arts, and outdoor education. We currently have openings for a preschool teacher in our Songbirds classroom, a dynamic and fun learning/teaching environment with an emphasis on art and outdoor exploration.
Come join our team during an exciting time of renewal!
Join a teacher team to lead a classroom of pre-K children (ages 3-5). Establish and facilitate typical Pre-K routines. Lead children on explorations on our beautiful wooded property. Co-teach with science educators from our next-door neighbor the Montshire Museum of Science. Collaborate with our atelierista (art teacher) who oversees our new art studio. Facilitate an "emergent curriculum," one propelled by students' curiosity and interests, while embedding early literacy and numeracy into your wondrous explorations with children.
