Location : Wilmington, VT

Job Type : Part Time

Beaver Brook Children's School is now seeking teachers and assistants available on Saturdays and/or Sundays to join our brand new, high-quality licensed childcare and prekindergarten program.

We are currently seeking a professional, responsible, caring, and educated leader to help guide our children and staff to academic and emotional success. Competitive wages, paid time off, annual bonuses, sign on bonus, and discounted childcare are included.

We are seeking staff to contribute to our weekend program as we plan to open additional days. Our program is currently open Monday through Friday, and we'd like to offer weekend care to local residents that work in the hospitality industry. This would be a small mixed age classroom of about 10 children and 4 teaching staff. Great ratios, lots of brand new materials, and tons of outdoor space to enjoy. Opportunities to supplement part time weekend work with a few weekdays is also available. Our program values nature and a connection with the outdoors, as well as confidence, creativity, and the development of pro-social skills.

The Beaver Brook Children's School is a NEW non-profit childcare and prekindergarten program located in the Old School Community Center in Wilmington, Vermont. Our brand new classrooms are filled with natural light, high-quality materials and furniture, and highly qualified educators. The center is adjacent to the Beaver Brook, Buzzy Park, Baker Field, and the Beaver Brook trail, and just a few blocks to the local library, police, and fire station.
