Pine Forest Children's Center (PFCC) seeks a professional level teacher for a part time teaching position. This position is for an afternoon teacher who will support the younger toddler classroom in the afternoons. This position will be at minimum 15 hours a week. PFCC provides high quality child care for diverse families of children six weeks through six years of age. We work in partnership with families to help children grow to the best of their abilities.
PFCC is a multi-faceted community which values imagination, integrity, curiosity and responsibility in children and adults. We are innovative, yet with a sense of tradition and attention to the natural world. Our curriculum is emergent and play-based allowing children to guide their own learning. We plan developmentally appropriate activities that are teacher guided and open ended, utilizing large and small groups, reflecting the best research in early childhood education.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, responsible, flexible team player that loves working with young children and will possess strong communication skills. Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

Applicant will be responsible for supervision of students in their classroom, curriculum planning, classroom management, collaboration with colleagues, and adherence to VT Licensing Regulations and VELS Standards.
